The Settlers: Release Mid March 2022, Closed Beta starts on January 20th

Ubisoft has held word: about a month ago you have announced by Twitter (we reported) that there will be new information about the strategy game in January (from 42.90 € at purchase). And much better could not be the news. So there is not only a fresh trailer that you can find below. A release date was finally called. Accordingly, the game, which made sporadically attentive since 2018, will appear on March 17, 2022. At Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store, the construction real-time strategy can be pre-ordered now.

And not only that: Ubisoft has informed that you can participate in the closed beta between the 20th and January 24, for which you can apply at this point. It will have access to the following content: a tutorial, two playable fractions and two Skirmish modes, 1V1 and 2V2. The pre-load of the Closed Beta will be available on 18 January.

The settlers developed by Ubisoft Düsseldorf, returns as a reboot, which was primarily inspired by the Settlers 3 and the Settlers 4, two of the most popular games of the series. Players can look forward to a brand-new settler experience developed from the ground up with Ubisoft's own snowdrop engine and leaving the brand in new light. Fans of the series, but also new players: inside, will experience lush and colorful biomes as well as a modernized gameplay. The settlers have three different game modes: single player campaign, onslaught and skirmish (solo against I, co-op against I or PVP with up to eight playing).

In the settlers, the Earl Group is forced to escape from their homeland and settle in a new and unknown country. Adventures await the settlers when they meet other factions and face hard challenges on their journey. There are a total of three playable factions in the settlers, each with a unique look, play style and a personal background history.
